Wanna see Jon in a tux??

Ok, so mostly I’m posting this picture because I look so dang good in this dress!! I have never worn a formal before and I was so proud to have a role in our yearly dinner theater, Hooray for Hollywood. I worked on the set and backdrops, some stage props and acted in a parody of Gone with the Wind. I played Sissy, the house maid. It was soo much fun!

So for my family, here is a recent look at me, taken Sept. 17th, 2004 while getting over a bad case of viral laryngitis. I prevailed. The Lord is good and he made me well enough to get thru the two shows and then I got sick!

I had a fun time, did I say that already? I was told over and over again if there was one to be had, I would have won and Oscar for my performance in the skit I did. I humbly said, “Thank you!”. I really enjoy the opportunity to make people laugh and have fun while doing it. I get to be someone else for a while...who wouldn’t want to do that??

I should also say that Jon competed with me, for “stealing” the show! He did two skits himself, one in a parody of Young Frankenstien, as Lou Costello in Abbott and Costello meet Frankestein, and the other in a rendition of Arsenic and Old Lace as Teddy.
